Becky and My Adventure to Duane Reede...

So my roommate Becky works for Fox News, she does computer stuff with the website, I don't really know what it is she does but I do know that she DOES speak Binary AND Hexi-Decimal and she taught me all about it if you'd ever like to learn I sure can teach you... Well probably not anymore cause I didn't really care while I was being taught BUT I felt smart for a little bit :) Thanks Becky!! Anyways... She was working with her team at work to launch a new website so she had to work late one night (until like 3 or 4 in the morning I think?) So I decided I would stay up with her for a bit and keep her awake and company! So... We headed down the the Duane Reede, which is a Pharmacy type store like Rite Aid or Walgreens, and we got some ice cream and yada yada yada... Then we were going to come home and watch Moulin Rouge. So remember this was really late at night when we were going, neither of us cared really what we looked like, I mean this is New York, you see everything here! So we both headed down in our pajamas. And the one we went to was "being remodeled" and I thought that the sign they had hanging fit our looks at the moment so...

I had to pose for a picture! So we found one that was somewhat hidden from the people around, set the timer on my camera and put it on a box of band-aids pressed the button sat there for a minute and... my camera died!! Of course! So I took the batteries out and switched them around (anyone else find that that works to? Or is it just me...) Set it all up again and here ya go! If you can't read the sign it says... "Please Pardon Our Appearance..." That was just the best line I thought, I had never seen it labeled as that has anyone else? Usually it's "Pardon Our Dust"But whatever it made for a good picture.

There was also a homeless man sleeping in the very back of the store just snoring away, i really wanted a picture of that but.... Batteries had just one more picture left in them, it was a tough choice but I think I made the right one :)
